ABOUT THE COUNSELLING
Just Talk Campaign also offers individual counselling sessions with a student counsellor, as well as the free monthly drop in sessions.
Counselling session can be offered in our confidential counselling café, or a confidential room within our centre (During the assessment the client will be offered both)
Counselling can help and support you with a wide range of issues like depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, addiction, work related issues, stress management and more. Just remember that you are not alone, we can help you.
The counselling is being offered at a reduced rate of £5 a session. This is dependent of the clients affordability, a sliding scale is introduced and discussed during the assessment process which can last up to one hour, this could range from £5 to £25
there is a charge of £5 for an assessment with a qualified counsellor.
THE STUDENT COUNSELLORS
All Students on placement are in their second year of their diploma or degree. All the students are supported with monthly supervision provided by an experienced supervisor and are supported by the team at ExploringU Counselling. A Qualified Counsellor will carry out an initial session with you to match you with a Student Counsellor best suited to your needs.
